If you have altered the User 1 mapping on the device the support may no longer work. i guess the behaviour of the launchcontrol is the same as the launchpad, so maybe someone has experiences whith that. If not, set both input and output port numbers to 185 and the device type to Novation Launch Control XL. When your XL resets to factory just hold down user mode and select button 1 (bottom left). any idea how to get the buttons only light when an effect is on? at the moment i have the buttons to send CC, but i also tried to send notes which caused more troubles. With the launchcontrol i had to enable midi out to get the buttons light, but i can't inverse it, so when all effects are bypassed the controller is lighting like a christmas tree. when it's reversed (light on when effect off and light off when effect on) i simply say "invert" in the midi mapping dialog. with my other controllers that have enlightened buttons (akai mpd32, korg nanokontrol) it works without enabling midi out in the preferences. ![]() ![]() The third row is for panning same procedure: first eight tracks already present, then for more press track select. ![]() Sounds a bit tricky, but after spending first five minutes banging the knobs, buttons and faders, you will get there. i want the buttons to enable/disable (bypass) effects, and if the effect is on the button should light up (i don't care in which colour tbh). There are no problems if you have more send effects additional sends could be added with send select knobs. I recently bought the novation launchcontrol midi controller and tried mapping it to resolume. On the keyboard I can use RightLeft buttons to scroll the tracks and whichever I select it highlighted. Maybe this is an easy question, but i'd like to change it and don't know how.
